Verify Vitamin Packs
We’ll show you how to spot a legit vitamin pack in the UAE and Saudi, and reveal the key step you must take before buying.
UAE Regulator
In the UAE the Emirates Drug Establishment is the single federal body that registers medicines and supplements. Use its online drug directory to look up the exact English name on your bottle. If the name doesn’t appear, contact the regulator for clarification.
Saudi Regulator
Saudi Arabia’s Food and Drug Authority oversees food, drugs, cosmetics and more, so vitamins can fall under its scope. Download the Tamani app, scan the barcode or type the name to see the official listing. The app also shows the product’s maker and import details.
Shelf Test
Before you pay, snap photos of the English label, the Arabic label, and the importer line. At home compare those images side-by-side while you search the regulator databases. Make sure the photos are clear; blurry text can cause a missed match.
Importer Info
A solid importer line lists a company name and full address you can verify. A lone phone number or email is weak. If the name differs between English and Arabic, or you can’t find the company, consider the pack unverified until the regulator confirms.
The one thing to verify
The one thing you must do before buying any vitamin pill is to confirm its registration on the official regulator list, not just trust the shop’s label. If you can’t find it, walk away.
