Post-Eid Reset

A gentle 7-day reset to bring the post-Eid scale back down, and reveal the single habit that makes the biggest difference.

Scale jump after Eid

Most of the two-kilogram jump you see is water and salt, not fat, and it usually disappears within a few days.

Normal meals & leftovers

Start with your regular breakfast, lunch and dinner, no cutting back. After each meal sip water, take a short walk, and if you have leftover mithai, give it away, freeze it, or keep just one piece for later.

Veg half plate & drink swap

At lunch and dinner, fill half your plate with vegetables or salad before the carbs. Swap sugary drinks like Rooh Afza and sweet lassi for water, plain chaas, or a splash of lemon water.

Longer walk & early dinner

Extend your post-meal walk to about twenty-five to thirty minutes, a pace where you can talk. Aim to finish dinner two to three hours before sleep, choosing daal or sabzi over fried items.

Sleep, weigh once

Get seven to eight hours of sleep tonight; short rest can crank up hunger. In the morning, weigh yourself once after the bathroom and before breakfast, and compare that number to your pre-Eid weight, not the peak.

Cleanse not needed

Your liver and kidneys already handle a heavy feast, so there’s no need for juice cleanses or detox teas. Those often just cause temporary water loss or upset stomach, and some products hide laxatives or stimulants.

The one habit

The single habit that makes the biggest impact is to drink a glass of water with every main meal; staying hydrated helps flush excess salt and supports the body’s natural weight reset.
